Shepherds know that it is in our clients best interests for us to continue in a key and pro-active role well beyond the introduction of a suitable buyer - we see that threshold as only 50% of our work done in the ultimate goal of getting our client from their existing property into their new home. As a result Shepherds have appointed a specialist individual, as a dedicated sales progressor to cater with the second half of the process.

Gareth Jones
With over 30 years experience in agency and financial services, Gareth will check and liaise with all the parties involved in order to make certain everything that should be happening actually happens. He is there to head off potential problems before they manifest, maintain progress through regular communication with solicitors, mortgagees, estate agents and others within the chain and in the so-doing keep vendors well informed throughout. If a big problem does arise then Gareth has the time to devote to resolving it satisfactorily, whereas most agents will leave progress to the solicitors, only getting involved to an inevitably limited degree, if called upon to do so. Gareth works 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and is completely office based therefore always remaining available to vendors and relevant parties requiring his help and assistance.
Shepherd’s aim in this respect is to provide a real and tangible continuation of service absent from the repertoire of most agencies and one which encompasses many client benefits in respect of the security of a sale, the speed at which the transaction goes through and ultimately a significant reduction in the stress and hassle. |
